Since 2000 to date, there has been 61 murders of journalists and the disappearance of 8 communicators. With aggression perpetrated yesterday at the newspaper's news of "El Sol de la Laguna, Torreon, Coahuila, increased to ten the number of attacks against media installations; recorded from 2006 to 2010, the National Commission Human Rights (NCHR), in a statement.
The rotating building aggression occurred when a group of armed men aboard three vans and a car shot the building, where the receptionist was injured.
As an officer was killed and two others injured after making rounds around the premises of the newspaper, owned by Organizacion Editorial Mexicana (OEM).
The NHRC said there is no justification to limit the work of journalists also lamented the attack failed and Coahuila newspaper and demanded clarification of the facts. Also considered essential that the attacks do not go unpunished and justice.
